I visited the home of the Northern Geelong Rental Co-Operative to run this summer workshop. Clients and staff made birds on sticks mosaics.

At the Geelong West Neighbourhood House stand mosaic makers of all ages were invited to help make a community mosaic, Rooster in the Garden.
The community garden gate was made by
Tony from the Men's Shed and Dani from Diversitat. The fabulous Men's Shed, together with the community garden, is located at the Northern Hub, Norlane.
Visitors to the GWNH stand at Pako Festa helped make the Rooster community mosaic for the Geelong West Community Garden.
West Fest April 2013. Once again I invited visitors to contribute to the Rooster mosaic.
'Rooster in the Garden' community mosaic project. I had lots of help to make this handsome rooster, mostly from kids at Pako Festa and West Fest. Appropriatly he now resides in Geelong West at the community garden.
Costa, host of 'Gardening Australia', visited the Geelong West Community Garden in February. He is very enthusiastic about art in gardens and we were delighted to show him the community's vibrant mosaics.
